Hello people,
I apologize for the hiatus. I went on vacation the week before last. After returning, I focused on two short stories for anthologies that I wanted to finish before their submission windows closed. Now that that is done, I’m cracking my knuckles and hitting the keys for WBD.
The break has given me some time to think about the direction I want to take this blog for the next little while. I’m committed to taking you guys on the journey with me through the process of trying to break out as a writer, with the goal of encouraging others on the same path. Rewriting is going to take months, and talking about that process will quickly get repetitive.
For a while, the Thursday article series will focus on reviews of different resources that have benefited me as a self-taught emerging writer. We’ll hit their strengths and weaknesses, their target audience, and what I find most helpful about them. The internet is a vast wilderness. Doubtless, some resources will be well known, but I hope to help you discover some unknown gems.
